  • Frequently Asked Questions

    What are the anticipated fees?

There are a number of factors that impact the structure of our College fees, including the contributions expected from Federal and State Government. While all of these factors are not yet known due to our 2019 commencement, we anticipate the Secondary education charge to fall under $8000, with applicable sibling discounts to apply. Carey Baptist College takes every measure to maintain a manageable fee structure while ensuring the standard of excellent education.

    Carey baptist College Enrolment Process

When should we join the waitlist?

Demand for placement at both Carey Baptist College campuses is strong. We recommend that you join the waitlist well in advance.

When can I expect to hear about an interview for my child?

For Kindergarten intake, the Enrolments Office endeavour to contact families approximately 12 months prior to the child starting school, once the child has turned 3 years of age.

For Year 7 intake, we endeavour to contact families when the student is in Year 5.

We contact families based on their original date of application, with siblings of existing Carey students having priority. Interviews are conducted throughout the school year and can also include a tour of the campus.

For all other years, our Enrolments Team will be in contact when there is an enrolment opportunity.

    What happens after the Interview?

Following a successful interview with the Principal, an enrolment place is offered to the student. The place is secured by completing and returning the Enrolment Forms to our Accounts Office at our Harrisdale Campus along with payment of the non-refundable Confirmation Fee within the offer period.
