As a Carey parent, you'll find everything you need to know right here – from bus services and uniforms to newsletters and facilities.
Students at Carey Forrestdale utilise the existing Harrisdale bus routes, and then catch a shuttle bus between the campuses. This service is available to all students from Year 1 upwards.
All of our contracted buses are fully air-conditioned and fitted with seatbelts.
Every student travelling on contracted Routes 1, 2, 3 or 4 or on the Forrestdale North or South services must be registered. We communicate with registered families in the event of an emergency, a delayed bus, or bus route changes.
Our Accounts Office is located on our Harrisdale Campus and is open Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 4:15pm.

The document below outlines tuition fees and provides a clear explanation of family concessions, our payment terms, late payment of fees, and so on.
When the fees for each year are confirmed by the College Board, all families are advised in writing. This generally happens each year in mid-to-late November.
In the interests of better efficiency in the Accounts Office, direct debit is the only form of paying tuition fees. Direct debits include annual, semester, term, monthly, and fortnightly payments. If you require weekly payments, please contact the Accounts Office. As well as direct debits from bank accounts, we also offer direct debits from a credit card. As per our Direct Debit Instructions below, please be mindful that there is a 0.8% surcharge to use a credit card.
Direct Debit Forms will be ongoing until the last student from your family leaves the College. If you need to complete or update your direct debit details, please complete a Direct Debit Form and return to the Accounts Office at least 3 business days prior to your next scheduled direct debit.
Parents in Partnership
At Carey, we recognise that parents play the most significant part in their child’s journey to lifelong learning. Values and attitudes that parents hold towards school and learning will strongly influence the values and attitudes that their children hold, and we encourage and welcome parent involvement, providing many ways that you can be involved.
Primary School Parent Involvement
Parents are invited to attend the Parents in Partnership (PIP) meetings, which are advertised on the Primary Calendar. For further active involvement, please see your child’s classroom teacher if you are available to assist in any of these areas:
- Rostered help in the classroom.
- Art Room.
- Assisting with Literacy Support.
- Special Events and Carnivals.
- Excursions and Camps.
- Fundraising Activities.
Secondary School Parent Involvement
Please see Administration if you are able to assist with Fundraising Activities or Hospitality and Events.
The OSHC Program at Carey Forrestdale is organised by Jump Carey Early Development. The Program aims to extend and enrich the wellbeing and development of school-aged children. Before school and after-school programs are available during the school term for students in Primary School. Vacation Care is also available for students at the Harrisdale Campus.
To learn more, please contact Jump.
