About

Our Story

The Carey Forrestdale Campus opened in 2016 with a masterplan to demonstrate the scope and potential of the 15 hectare site.

The growing campus currently offers Kindergarten to Year 6, with the Secondary School launching in 2019, subject to the approval of the Director General of the Department of Education. Commencing with Year 7 in 2019, the campus will continue to grow each year to eventually offer Kindergarten to Year 12.

The campus is also home to Carey Baptist Church Forrestdale and Jump Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).

A Growing Community

The Forrestdale Campus has commenced with state-of-the-art Primary School classrooms. It will continue to provide innovative learning spaces as it expands to offer a comprehensive Kindergarten to Year 12 education.

The facilities currently include large primary classrooms, specialised Early Learning classrooms and attractive purpose-built portable classrooms that will be used initially for the Secondary School and specialist classes. Large oval and play spaces are available for all students. Our campus is also home to Carey Baptist Church and Jump Out of Hours Care (OSHC).

The next stage of our build has a community focus and provides spaces for students, families and our growing community to come together. This stage of the build is scheduled for completion in September 2018. The build includes state-of-the-art break out spaces, a community hub that also transforms into an auditorium and a café kiosk – providing plenty of space for families to connect. A multipurpose outdoor court facility (basketball, netball, tennis and volleyball) and second oval, will also be in place for the commencement of the 2019 school year.

A custom-designed, specialist science building will open in 2022 to cater for students from Year 10 onwards who will be studying physics, chemistry and biology.
